Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver fast, friendly, and courteous service in a high-volume setting. You will greet guests, explain menus, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining a polished appearance.

You will collaborate with team members, stay aware of policies, and uphold safety and service standards to provide a memorable dining experience for patrons.

Qualifications

• Must have outgoing, friendly personality and a cheerful accommodating disposition.
• Must remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; high school diploma preferred; six months' customer service experience required; high volume experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills; able to resolve problems diplomacy and tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Report to work well-groomed in full uniform and on time with badge on upper left side of uniform.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to all guests.
• Be hospitable, friendly, and polite with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Understand Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel's philosophy and goals and support them.
• Perform duties assigned by the manager or shift manager.
• Assist all employees in performing their duties and work as one team.
• Be familiar with check and cashing procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, wine lists, and daily specials.
• Greet all guests within one minute in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Complete opening and closing side work daily; check with manager before clocking out.
• Relay guest complaints or compliments to the manager or supervisor on duty.
• Follow information security policies and guidelines.
