Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s in Ruskin, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, drive guest satisfaction, and boost sales. You’ll supervise shifts, assist with hiring, train Team Members, and ensure policies are followed while keeping the store safe, clean, and welcoming.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, Food Safety Certification, 1–2 years of QSR management, basic math skills, and strong interpersonal and written

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certified.
• 1–2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Basic math skills.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations with the restaurant, employees or Guests to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
• Train Team Members on operations, Company policies and procedures and Guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy and procedure violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members on their performance.
