Mia's Table is seeking a friendly cashier to ensure smooth payment transactions and deliver excellent service to guests in a vibrant dining setting.

As a cashier, you will handle orders, assist customers with inquiries, and provide enthusiastic recommendations while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace and collaborating with servers and management to uphold Mia's Table's guest-centric standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
• Fluent English; excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and cash handling accuracy.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with POS systems and electronic payments.

Responsabilités

• Operate the cash register and process cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries, promotions, and menu details.
• Take and enter orders into the POS system.
• Upsell items to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
• Balance cash at start and end of shift and maintain a secure register area.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station and stock supplies.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and report incidents.
