Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf seeks a friendly server to provide prompt service in the Seven Summits Lodge at Trilogy at Tehaleh, Bonney Lake, WA. You will work in the restaurant, bar, and patio, taking and delivering orders with a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, handling payments, and maintaining resort dining standards. The role offers a part-time schedule with opportunities for tips and benefits per company policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months’ server experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement BlueStar Resort & Golf dining standards.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; able to calculate discounts and percentages.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memorandums.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide hospitality with knowledge of the resort and dining area.
• Write orders; relay food orders to the kitchen and beverage orders to the bartender.
• Serve food and beverages and clear tables following service etiquette.
• Connect with guests at assigned tables to ensure needs are met.
• Work as a team under direction of Lead Server or F&B Manager.
• Report safety issues or guest concerns to a supervisor.
• Check identification to ensure legal age for alcohol.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Other duties may be assigned.
