Job summary

The City of Pittsburg is seeking enthusiastic Recreation Leader II candidates to support Tinytots, Adaptive, Youth/Young Adult, and Adult Sports programs at the Marina Community Center and other sites. You will assist coaches, guide participants, and help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for youth and adults alike.

No prior experience is required, but familiarity with recreation programs is desirable; High school students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with recreation programs is desirable.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and ensure participant conduct.
• Provide minor first aid and support during programs.
• Assist in daily operation of recreation activities and events.
• Engage with youth and adults to deliver a positive experience.
• Support communication with participants, families, and staff.
