Job summary

NFI Real Estate in Camden, NJ is seeking an Investment Analyst to support acquisitions, redevelopment, financing, asset management, and reporting for a nationwide industrial portfolio. The role demands strong analytic and communication skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities include underwriting, due diligence, investment committees, and investor reporting. The position requires 1–3 years in real estate or private equity and 30% travel, with on-site work in Camden.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 1-3 years’ experience in Real Estate or Private Equity.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, interpret and create real estate documents including LOIs, RFPs, offering memorandums, market reports and tenant leases.
• Knowledge of financial concepts such as net present value, IRR, cap rates, margins, waterfalls and promotes.
• Create or modify cash flow and underwriting models using Argus and Microsoft Excel.
• Other software knowledge includes Microsoft Office, Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and Salesforce; Yardi experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Problem solver, results oriented, hard worker.
• Travel, nights and weekends will be required 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting: Financial modeling of acquisitions, build-to-suit or speculative developments, dispositions, joint-ventures, look back analysis, financing and leasing.
• Transaction Due Diligence: Site tours, meetings, property and market research, coordination with legal, finance and third party vendors.
• Investment Approval and Financing Process: Create investment committee memorandums and financing packages.
• Investor Reporting: Create investor presentations and collateral and provide quarterly reports.
• Markets: Develop knowledge of local investment markets, market research and data collection.
• Technology: Assist in NFI Real Estate adoption of AI tools to gain efficiencies and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.
