Job summary

Dalfen Industrial is looking for an Investment Analyst to join our Atlanta, GA team. The Analyst will underwrite real estate investments across the U.S. and support the regional teams, reporting to the regional SVP based in the Southeast.

Key responsibilities include coordinating due diligence with brokers, engineers and contractors; compiling property and market reports; creating Argus files; building sale/lease comps and DCF models; and assisting asset management with quarterly projections.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution.
• 1–3 years of work experience or highly qualified undergraduates will be considered.
• Strong desire to work in real estate finance.

Job description

Dalfen Industrial is looking for an Investment Analyst to join our team based in Atlanta, GA. The Investment Analyst will be responsible for underwriting real estate investments across the U.S and providing support for the regional teams. The Investment Analyst will report to the regional SVP based in the Southeast.

Position Responsibilities

• Support the due diligence process for assets under contract, including coordinating with external suppliers such as brokers, engineers, and contractors to support the due diligence process
• Compile and present property and market specific reports to management
• Gathering and assessing critical information related to the sourcing and evaluation of potential acquisitions and leasing
• Create and edit Argus files
• Create sale and lease comparable tables and run DCF models
• Assist Asset management with quarterly models
• Ad hoc projects

Skills & Experience

• Undergraduate degree from a top tier accredited institution
• 1-3 years of work experience (highly qualified undergraduates will be considered)
• Strong desire to work in real estate finance
• Highly motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment
• Detail-oriented
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Real estate specific coursework or work experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Argus, Costar and Real Capital Analytics preferred
