Rodeo Dental in Stafford, TX is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support patient care across specialties. The RDA will work in the back office and engage patients in our welcoming lobbies, ensuring a positive, efficient experience.

Candidates should hold an active Texas RDA license, CPR/AED, and familiarity with Open Dental or Dentrix. The role requires flexibility, with evenings and weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
• CPR and AED training must be current.
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification is preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training required.
• Experience with dental software (Open Dental or Dentrix) is helpful.
• Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain inventory and supply replenishment with the Lead DA.
• Prioritize patient safety and team safety.
• Follow OSHA and infection-control protocols and dispose of sharps safely.
• Maintain digital patient artifacts including health history, eligibility, treatment plans, and records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient well-being throughout visits.
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, disinfected, stocked at start/end of interactions.
• Chart treatments and update patient charts with fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
• Review charts and health history before doctor arrives and reconfirm concerns.
• Capture diagnostic X-Rays and attach to charts.
• Assist Rodeo Team with cleaning surfaces and common areas.
