Job summary

General Manager in Chattanooga, TN at Dunkin is responsible for the overall operation and delivering great guest experiences in line with brand standards. The role leads a team, hires and trains staff, and plans staffing to meet guest and business needs while coaching for performance.

Typical week is 45 hours across early shifts; emphasis on Thursdays–Saturdays, with extensive focus on safety, cleanliness, and cost control. ServSafe certification is a requirement where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience managing employees in restaurant, hospitality or retail.
• Preferably 2 years in a salaried management role at a QSR.
• 2 years of interviewing and hiring decisions.
• 2 years of scheduling experience.
• 2 years of inventory and truck ordering experience.
• 5 years of cash handling experience.
• 5 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of managing food and/or labor costs/metrics.
• Active ServSafe Certification or eligible to obtain one.
• Successful completion of background check and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Develop a team delivering guest experiences and profitable top-line sales.
• Oversee restaurant operation per Dunkin standards.
• Hire, train, and develop staff; plan staffing to meet needs.
• Coach, recognize achievements, and address employee concerns.
• Ensure brand standards and systems are executed; ServSafe training.
• Drive profitability by controlling labor and food costs; maintain cash controls.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; maintain preventative maintenance.
• Present during peak hours to drive sales on key days.
