Job summary

Columbiana Health & Rehab in Columbiana, AL is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to provide therapy to patients in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will use a variety of therapeutic techniques and motivate patients to participate in their treatment plans.

You will accurately document patient progress, maintain confidentiality of records, and utilize the computer system per policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate PTA from an APTA-accredited program.
• Must hold a current PTA license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical PTA experience.
• CPR certification (current).
• Valid driver's license with insured vehicle.
• Experience with computers and record systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to SNF patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team planning and care
• Document patient progress clearly within designated timeframes
• Use computer systems to support documentation and billing per policy
