Job summary

VNA Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Canton team and provide 40 hours of home health visits around Needham and surrounding towns.

The PTA will work independently to deliver therapeutic care focused on restoring and maintaining function, with MA licensure and an Associate's degree in physical therapy required. Home Health experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
• 1 year in acute care setting or comparable work experience.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Working independently the PTA provides therapeutic care to patients and families that focuses on restoring, promoting or maintaining function and minimizing the effects of illness or disability.
