Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and delivering high-quality care to patients.

You will document patient responses, communicate with the supervising PT and facility staff, and help operate standard PT equipment as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
