Job summary

Azria Health Winterset is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for PRN availability. You will provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following physician referrals and Life Care standards to support resident recovery.

Responsibilities include charting with therapy software, maintaining patient confidentiality, and delivering excellent patient service while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to meet care goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (ASPT).
• Must be currently licensed/registered in the applicable state and maintain active license.
• CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation and must remain current.
• One year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct rehab care in physical therapy under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Follow physician referral and Life Care standards and treatment plans.
• Chart appropriately and timely using therapy software.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and positive attitude with patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with staff and vendors.
