Sentara Therapy Center Granby in Norfolk, VA seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to join a full-time, day-shift team. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will administer therapies, help develop treatment plans, document progress, educate clients and caregivers, and supervise assigned staff.

This role focuses on outpatient rehabilitation, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and patient education to support recovery and functional goals.

Qualifications

• Associate level degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
• BLS certification (AHA RQI/RQI) may be required

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Assist in developing treatment plans and document progress within established plans.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers; supervise assigned team members.
