Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks a speech-language pathologist to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services for adults and children with neurogenic communication disorders. You will assess, treat, and discharge patients while documenting care in the medical record and communicating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Indiana license in Speech-Language Pathology required; BLS/CPR as applicable.
• Benefits from prior acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations for adults and/or children with speech, language, cognitive, or swallow disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with functional goals and monitor progress.
• Supervise therapy assistants and coordinate with rehabilitation teams.
• Document assessments, treatment notes, and discharge summaries per policy and billing requirements.
• Participate in department meetings, quality projects, and educational activities.
