Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration or ARRT eligibility required; SCRQSA license required.
• Advanced ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Apply ALARA radiation safety principles and maintain compliance.
• Ensure correct patient identification, positioning and image quality.
• Provide patient care during imaging procedures and monitor patient condition.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate life support as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Establish professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Comply with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
