Job summary

Lee's Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join our care team. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and work with physicians to drive meaningful recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based treatments, monitoring progress with accurate documentation, and educating patients on safe exercise. You will mentor assistants and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Missouri Physical Therapy License or temporary license required upon hire; temporary license valid 90 days.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitoring progress and refining therapy plans with timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
• Mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values.
