Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• New graduates acceptable.
• SC Board Certified / Eligible, Driver’s license and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.
• Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
• Evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments.
• Establishes treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients’ pain and help them recover.
• Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters. Documents and reports on patients’ progress.
• May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

SC Board Certified / Eligible

Current Driver’s License
