Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to support multiple clinics in Locust, NC. The role emphasizes fast-paced urgent and primary care with flexible shifts, and opportunities to work across teams.

Requirements include FNP board certification and an MSN or higher, plus strong communication and EMR/Microsoft Office skills. Competitive hourly pay with bonuses, CME allowance, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
