Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking experienced Principals in Cincinnati, Ohio to lead instructional and operational aspects of the campus, aligning with ACCEL's mission to provide a rigorous and nurturing education that prioritizes student engagement and achievement.

The Principal will guide curriculum, assessment, teacher development, PBIS, and community engagement, ensuring compliance and a positive school culture while driving student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline is required.
• Current valid Principal license is required.
• Two+ years of urban school administration/instructional leadership experience.
• Experience coaching teachers to improve instructional planning and classroom culture.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in public education accountability and compliance.
• Ability to meet educational standards and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic instructional design, curriculum and assessment practices.
• Direct instructional coaching, evaluation and data-driven instruction.
• Ensure high levels of student achievement and school culture.
• Oversee PBIS implementation and behavior management.
• Coordinate summer and after-school programs as applicable.
• Manage school operations, data reporting and compliance with regulations.
• Engage community and stakeholders to support student success.
