Job summary

Totum in Tampa seeks a friendly, fast-paced Prep Cook to support cafe, deli, and RTE production. You will prep vegetables, meats, sauces, and ready-to-eat items while maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation. Cross-training across stations is expected to meet daily demand.

The ideal candidate has knife skills, knowledge of food safety, and thrives in a busy environment. Applicants should be able to stand for long shifts and handle up to 50 lb. bags as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knife skills and ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and clean, sanitary workstation practices.
• Willingness to cross-train across stations and support multiple production lines.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, chop, and dice vegetables and fruits; portion meats and seafood.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, marinades, and stocks for various service areas.
• Assemble, portion, package, label, and date meal-prep kits and ready-to-eat items.
