Job summary

Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Unit RN for a PRN role in Pre-Op and PACU. You will deliver compassionate care, support diagnosis and treatment, and help patients recover with dignity across phase 1 and 2 in a fast-paced surgical setting.

You will join a high-performing team, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, and apply clinical judgment to ensure safety and comfort throughout the perioperative journey.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If RN license inactive, retired or lapsed five years or more, refresher course is required before reactivating.
• One year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients across pre-op and post-op phases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and stabilize patients.
• Respond quickly in a dynamic, high-pressure surgical environment.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during every phase of care.
