Job summary

Novant Health’s Leland Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks a dedicated RN to join a close-knit team focused on patient care during the perioperative journey. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, administer medications, and support smooth pre- and post-operative experiences.

Requires an Associate Degree (2-year) RN license in NC, with preference for a BSN and 1 year ASC/PACU/OR experience. ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• ACLS and PALS, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients as they come in
• Administer pre-op medication
• Perioperative teaching then post op recoveries
• Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth pre/post experience.
