The PN Adjunct will lead clinical instruction, promote critical thinking, and ensure safe, compliant learning environments in labs and clinical sites while collaborating with nursing faculty and maintaining records and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current Kansas license in good standing.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program with plan to complete within six years.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience; recent clinical experience preferred.
• Maintain nursing licensure and relevant certifications as appropriate.
• Adhere to Kansas State Board of Nursing requirements for PN teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead PN clinical instruction in simulation labs and clinical agencies.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty to prepare for clinical, lab and simulation instruction.
• Maintain a safe, effective learning environment per MATC policies.
• Effectively use MATC Online, e‑mail, MS Office and Internet for course activities.
• Meet scheduled classes and maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in faculty meetings.
