Tri County Tech is seeking an Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor to help prepare adult students for careers as practical nurses and other healthcare professions. Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of two years of related nursing work experience in the last five years.
• CPR certification required.
• Familiarity with current nursing practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of pedagogy and training/education of others.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and handle additional duties.
• Open to feedback and ongoing skill improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to curriculum goals.
• Translate plans into engaging learning experiences within available time.
• Establish and maintain classroom behavior standards for a productive learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain records/reports.
• Identify student needs and collaborate with staff to support health, attitude and learning.
