Job summary

Sea Colony Recreation Association, Inc. seeks an Assistant Pickleball Professional to join our racquets team. You will deliver high quality pickleball instruction and exceptional service to homeowners, guests, and members in a Troon managed resort setting.

You will lead clinics, individual lessons, and fun events while maintaining safety and a welcoming court culture. Availability for evenings and weekends is essential to support programming needs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 4.0+ playing ability preferred.
• Experience teaching or coaching racquet sports.
• High School diploma or GED.
• CPR/AED certification preferred (can be obtained after hiring).
• Certification through PPR or RSPA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead group clinics, beginner lessons, drill sessions, and social round robins.
• Provide private and semi-private lessons as requested.
• Organize and execute pickleball events, leagues, and tournaments.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional court culture.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on all pickleball courts and facilities.
• Work with the Director of Racquets to grow participation and elevate the member experience.
