Job summary

Centennial Peaks Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation plans. You will assist with exercises, modalities, patient education, and documentation as part of a coordinated care team.

You will monitor patient progress, ensure safety, maintain equipment, and help patients regain mobility and reduce pain through hands-on therapy under supervision. BLS preferred; ready to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under a Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor patient responses and document progress
• Educate patients on exercises, home care, and safety
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliant documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe clinical environment
• Assist in initial assessments and gather mobility and functional data
• Monitor safety and body mechanics to prevent injuries
