Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team in Chicago. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will support patients by following individualized plans of care to promote progress and functional outcomes.

You will assist with all phases of therapy, discuss treatments with patients, document responses in charts, and maintain open communication with the supervising therapist and rehab staff.

Qualifications

• Assist patients under supervision following an individualized plan of care.
• Discuss treatment with patients and document patient responses after each visit.
• Provide safe, effective care and maintain patient comfort during therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
