Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to supervise, provide, and direct rehabilitation services under a Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards, ongoing education, and participation in program development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an approved curriculum.
• Two to four years of experience preferred.
• Current license for physical therapy assisting in the state in which practicing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, provide and direct therapy rehabilitation services in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate resident/client progress or status to supervising therapist in a timely manner.
• Develop and evaluate the plan of care in partnership with the patient and caregivers; educate and counsel patients.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation according to policy.
• Assist with marketing and program development as requested.
• Maintain productivity to meet facility goals; stay current with PT field knowledge.
