Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in physical therapy assisting.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Ability to work at various locations per diem.
• Must provide safe, compassionate, and competent physical therapy treatments.
• AHA BLS – State of Pennsylvania
• PTA license in Pennsylvania upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatment per plan of care to restore function.
• Instruct patients and families in exercises and mobility techniques.
• Modify treatment plans to maximize results.
• Apply modalities to aid recovery and pain relief.
• Provide cost-effective care per billing guidelines.
• Complete documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with supervising PT about patient progress.
• Select and fit assistive devices for gait training and instruct use.
