Qualifications

• Graduated from Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by APTA.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice if required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist.
• Implements individualized treatment plan considering patient’s physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational and age-specific needs.
• Documents progress and modifies plan of care with supervising PT as indicated.
