Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy in Crawfordsville, IN, is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to assist therapists and clinicians by performing administrative and clinical duties. You will greet patients, support treatment delivery, and ensure compliance with state practice acts.

Working closely with PTs and PTAs, you contribute to a positive patient experience. Qualifications include a high school diploma or intern, prior clinical aide or rehab tech experience preferred, and strong

Qualifications

• High school graduate and/or intern preferred
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production
• Attention to detail and time management required
• Patient/Client satisfaction: provide care that exceeds expectations
• Energetic and a team player
• Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients
• Complete tasks thoroughly
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists with treatments
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients during exercises and activities
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities like Ultrasounds or electrical stimulation
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment
• Washes linens, folds and maintains linen cabinets
• Restocks restrooms and other areas with supplies
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
• Assist with inventory tracking and ordering supplies for the clinic
