Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days and continuing education in stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages; adapts care plan as needed.
• Performs safe patient transfers and ensures body mechanics.
• Educates patients and families with effective teaching methods.
• Documents care per CTSCP67 and coordinates with the team.
• Collaborates with care team and supervises PTA and rehab techs.
• Communicates discharge plans and equipment needs to the medical team.
