Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
• Current license from the Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Ability to obtain Montana licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an individualized program of physical therapy including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward functional goals.
• Maintain positive working relationships with other health professionals and staff.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate needs and outcomes, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Design and implement a plan of care for patients with involvement from significant others when appropriate.
• Conduct therapy within defined standards of care.
• Direct the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals.
• Communicate effectively with other staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital and department policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Document evaluations, goals, plans, and prescriptions; maintain up-to-date records.
• Promote professional growth through education, in-service trainings, and workshops.
