Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is recruiting a Physical Therapist for a rural hospital in Miles City, MT. This full-time role offers a varied caseload, relocation assistance, and a competitive compensation package.

You will develop and implement individualized PT plans, collaborate with physicians and staff, document progress, and support community outreach to improve patient outcomes. Montana licensure required; on-call/weekend coverage included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AP TA-approved physical therapy program and eligible for Montana licensure.
• Current license from the Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or ability to obtain it.
• Eligibility to be licensed within the State of Montana.

Responsibilities

• Carry out an individualized program of physical therapy including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize patient progress toward functional goals.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists.
• Design and implement a plan of care based on thorough assessment and involve significant others when appropriate.
• Conduct therapy practices within defined standards of care.
• Direct the assistance of support staff to achieve patient goals.
• Communicate effectively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Follow hospital and departmental policies, quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards.
• Document evaluations, treatment goals and plans; update documentation and signatures.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through education, in-services, and workshops.
• Provide leadership to staff and promote physical therapy in the community.
