Job summary

The role requires a PT degree and MI licensure (or within 30 days), plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist degree with 5 years of experience, or a CAPTE-accredited Master’s/Doctorate in PT.
• Current State of Michigan licensure or licensure within 30 days of applying.
• Current CPR certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers.
• Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.
• Communicates with co-workers, and other professionals, including physicians and nurses as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Functions as a team member in care of patients and in mentoring with other staff.
• Maintains clinical productivity standards.
• Maintains awareness of patient safety issues within the clinic and in the use of equipment.
