Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your location.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services with review of medical history and assessments; explains findings and involves patient/family in goal setting.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation; consults with other professionals as needed; documents changes in condition.
• Completes discharge planning and accurate documentation of care activities; maintains a clear patient care record including initial evaluation and progress notes.
• Manages scheduling and productivity; ensures accessible, patient-centered care with empathy and adaptability.
• Directs continuing education and serves as a clinical instructor; assists with orientation and mentoring of staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
