Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to implement individualized therapy plans for patients in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. You will evaluate, diagnose, and develop plans of care to maximize function, mobility, and quality of life, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a PT degree (Bachelors/Masters/Doctoral) and licensure, plus CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• PT license in place Upon Hire; VDHP/VA license requirements may apply.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire (Required).
• 1 year Physical Therapy experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care.
• Performs physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, mobility, and reducing pain.
• Evaluates patient timely based on practice guidelines and standards.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team and participates in team meetings.
• Assists in training and support of team members, volunteers and students.
• Carries out and updates treatment plan, documents progress, and adjusts care as needed.
