Job summary

Acloché LLC in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team and support skilled patient care under a licensed PT.

You will document patient activities, communicate with families and medical staff, and ensure compliance with state practice acts and Medicare rules. The role requires CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT program graduate, current state license, CPR, and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
