Peoria Post Acute and Rehabilitation in Peoria, AZ is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs.

A PTA license is required; new graduates are welcome. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule, pay of $30–$35/hour based on experience, and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Stand and walk frequently; assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries and ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
