WVUE-TV/Gray Media in New Orleans seeks a creative photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. The role requires an eye for powerful images and strong editing skills to produce multi-platform content.

You will gather video, sound, and stills, edit footage, and manage equipment for FOX 8’s platforms, while working in a dynamic newsroom environment. Candidates must be able to work varied shifts and be willing to relocate to New Orleans.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of news photography experience.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts (mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be willing to work in New Orleans, LA.

Responsabilités

• Gather video, sound, and stills for FOX 8 multimedia platforms.
• Edit video and sound for multimedia platforms.
• Maintain assigned gear and equipment.
• Operate ENG trucks and bonded cellular live devices (Live U).
• Post on FOX 8 digital platforms.
• Use Skype/other mobile live devices.
• Drive company vehicle and perform other duties as assigned.
