WVUE, FOX 8, is looking for a creative, aggressive, and visual photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced, talented newsroom. The candidate must be an excellent photographer and editor for all multi-platform content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of news photography.
• Flexible hours; shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; writing is a plus.
• Willing to work in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities

• Gather video, sound, and stills for FOX 8 multimedia platforms.
• Edit video and sound for all platforms.
• Maintain assigned gear.
• Operate ENG trucks and bonded cellular live devices (Live U).
• Post on FOX 8 digital platforms.
• Use Skype/other mobile live devices.
• Drive a company vehicle and perform other duties as assigned.
