Job summary

Terminix is seeking Innovation/Utility specialists to perform pest control, TAP insulation installation, and light construction tasks at residential and commercial sites. Inspect, install, and maintain termite systems, insulation, and exclusion traps while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Role involves working around animals, tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds; requires a driver’s license and flexibility to work multiple days. Benefits start Day 1 for FT colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information.
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide; follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pest control: Inspect, identify pest activity, perform pest control services, install and maintain termite control systems.
• TAP insulation installation: Install TAP insulation with quality and safety.
• Construction and repair: Assist with minor construction and repairs related to pest damage.
• Customer interaction: Explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide pest-control guidance.
• Service delivery: Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal with safety protocols.
• Continuous learning: Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training.
