Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking Personal Trainers to join our welcoming, judgement-free gym environment. You will work with members to assess goals, design routines, and demonstrate proper exercise technique on the club floor.

In addition to coaching, you will handle member check-ins, phone inquiries, and sales of beverages and merchandise. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe facility and support a positive member experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Manage PE@PF programs and create workout routines for members.
• Consult with members about their training goals and instruct them on how to use equipment safely.
• Create bi-weekly updates with a variety of exercises.
• Greet members and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
• Check-in members, tour prospects, register new members and communicate updates.
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Sell beverages and merchandise at the point of sale.
• Assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing questions.
• Keep reception and entrance areas clean and orderly; regular facility cleaning.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked; maintain weights and exercise areas.
