Job summary

Planet Fitness seeks a Fitness Trainer to operate the group fitness program and support members on their fitness journeys. You will promote a welcoming Judgement Free Zone and help members use equipment safely while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include scheduling classes, engaging with members on the club floor, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Strong communication, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions or check-in.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and spa amenities; maintain spaces.
• Ensuring restrooms are clean and sanitized, stocked and clutter free by following the cleaning schedule.
• Create a class schedule for members and develop training programs.
