Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a passionate Personal Trainer to deliver expert training sessions and proactively grow their book of business through sales, outreach, and retention strategies.

The role requires CPR/AED and a nationally recognized personal training certification; flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends; and a commitment to helping clients achieve results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• CPR & AED Certifications required.
• Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, etc.) required.
• Sales experience or proven ability to close leads and build relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
• Nutrition coaching experience or additional certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Actively generate leads through in-gym interactions, community outreach, social media, and referrals.
• Conduct Kick-Off Sessions as initial consultations and movement assessments with new members as part of the sales process.
• Convert leads into paying clients by delivering value and building rapport.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and retention targets set by management.
• Create and update personalized training programs based on client needs.
• Educate clients on proper technique, recovery, and overall health.
• Track and communicate client progress to ensure accountability and motivation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment and club.
• Stay updated on fitness trends, certifications, and continuing education.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers and staff to deliver premium client experience.
