Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in renewal underwriting, a P&C license, and a preference for a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong confidentiality and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• 2–3 years' experience in renewal underwriting or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• P&C license preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Process Personal Lines renewal business to grow revenues and maintain retention and profitability.
• Review documents to determine risk (application forms, maps, loss experience).
• Obtain additional information as needed; accept or reject risks per guidelines.
• Ensure that quotes, binders, policies are issued promptly and accurately; handle state filings where applicable.
• Keep track of policy renewal dates and send out notices in a timely manner.
• Assist in training of other personnel as directed.
