Job summary

Strategic Recruitment Solutions seeks a dependable Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a personal injury law firm in Mobile, AL. You will assist attorneys with organizing case files, communicating with clients, and keeping deadlines on track throughout intake to resolution.

The role requires detail orientation, professionalism, and the ability to adapt in a busy litigation environment while supporting attorneys and the team with a range of administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar legal support role preferred.
• Personal injury experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with electronic case files and legal software.
• Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients who may be dealing with difficult circumstances.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the organization and management of case files.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical files, records, and case documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in each matter.
• Assist with drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
• Request, organize, and track medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
• Assist with scheduling depositions, hearings, meetings, medical appointments, and other case-related events.
• Monitor deadlines, calendars, and case progress to help ensure matters continue moving forward.
• Prepare documents for attorney review, filing, and distribution.
• Provide additional legal and administrative support to attorneys and team members as needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
