Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part-time Event Host in San Mateo to plan and coordinate events (including kids’ birthday parties) inside the store, delivering a fun, engaging experience for guests and ensuring a friendly customer service flow.

You will handle client communications, assist with checkout, and manage event setup and breakdown, while maintaining store standards and safety. Experience with children's events and strong communication skills are preferred.

• Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness and safety during events.
