Job summary

The Salvation Army in Omaha North is seeking an Events & Rentals Specialist to support internal and external events. You will coordinate planning, client communication, and day-of execution to ensure exceptional service and adherence to contracts.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in development, marketing, events, or public relations, plus strong MS Office skills and a collaborative mindset. This role may require evenings, weekends, and holiday work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, journalism, or public relations and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute seasonal and community events with attention to contracted details.
• Serve as primary client liaison to ensure exceptional service and clear communication.
• Support post-event follow up, data collection, and basic AV setup as needed.
